💜 TwitchCon — The Heartbeat of the Creator World
Every streamer dreams of the moment when their online world becomes real — where the faces behind the usernames, the emotes, and the chat messages come together under one roof. That’s exactly what TwitchCon is all about.
Launched in 2015, TwitchCon is Twitch’s annual celebration of creators, gamers, fans, and brands — a massive real-world festival that captures everything that makes Twitch unique: community, creativity, and connection.
From panels and esports tournaments to cosplay competitions and live concerts, TwitchCon is more than just an event — it’s a living, breathing symbol of the streaming era.
🕹️ How TwitchCon Started
The first TwitchCon took place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California in September 2015. Twitch had already exploded as the go-to platform for gaming content, but the community craved more — something physical, something real.
The event attracted over 20,000 attendees, featuring panels from top streamers, meet-and-greets, live gaming tournaments, and exclusive Twitch announcements. It was such a success that Twitch made it an annual tradition.
